A Valentine's day experiential event that promotes togetherness through teamwork.

This is a passion project created to learn more about animation, experiential marketing, and 3d modeling.

MY INSPIRATION

I was interested in creating a valentine’s experience that didn’t focus on romantic relationships.

Oreo featured rapper Wiz Khalifa and his son in a commercial where Wiz Khalifa is a busy single parent that takes some extra time to have fun with his child. This piqued my interest in more non-romantic relationships. Often times black male rappers are shown to be tough and aggressive, but in this instance Oreo shows Wiz Khalifa as a playful and loving father.

THE SOLUTION

Imagine if you will...

You've just left the grocery store with your kid and you hear the famous Oreo jingle coming across the parking lot. There's a moment of glee as your attention is captured by Oreo's jumping across the side of the truck.The Dunk-N-Love truck travels the country, allowing parents and children to spend an extra moment together on Valentine's Day. When parked, the screen features an interactive game that requires two participants. After a few minutes of playing an easy and interactive game of getting the Oreos into the milk with your kid, you're sent home with a recipe prize that you two can make together.With so many ways to share your love with someone, I believe the most effective would be to simply spend time with them.

The Truck

The Oreo jingle greets the community as the Dunk-n-love truck drives by. The truck itself moves through different areas such as suburban neighborhoods and shopping centers, easily accessible and commonly frequented areas.

The Games

Once parked, the fun begins as the static screen becomes interactive with Oreos falling from above. The goal is to get the Oreos into a glass of milk. This is done by having one user hit the oreos and the other tilt and move the glass of milk to help catch them. This game would be achieved using Microsoft Kinect.

The Prizes

When all the Oreos are caught in the glass, the game only lasting a few minutes, the participants can go to the other side of the truck to receive a prize. Winners receive an Oreo's Valentine's Day kit. This kit ingredients and a recipe card so that the fun continues at home.

REFLECTION

I'd love to create seasonal community events

If this was a real project with Oreo, I'd love to create more experiential marketing events based around special Oreo releases that focus on bringing people together/ engaging local communities.
